Ballinrobe is a town in County Mayo in Ireland. It is located on the River Robe, which empties into Lough Mask two kilometres to the west. As of the 2016 census, the population is 2,786. The town benefits from having Primary and Post primary schools as well as shops, pubs and restaurants. With a number of major employers including McHale engineering the town also has a number of sports clubs and a popular racecourse.
